Giving Birth at Columbia
NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is widely recognized as one of the top obstetric programs in the world, delivering more than 4,000 babies every year. Our program provides comprehensive care for both mother and baby — from routine prenatal care to managing the most high-risk pregnancies, births, and postpartum care. Doula-Led, Virtual Prenatal Education Classes
To sign up for doula-led, virtual prenatal education classes, please click here (remaining 2023 dates and 2024 dates listed below). The class will run for 3 consecutive weeks, covering what to expect from birth through the postpartum period and strategies for communicating your needs during birth. We recommend patients are between 24 and 34 weeks pregnant on the first week of class. All patients deliering at NYP/Columbia, NYP Allen, NYP Westchester, NYP Hudson Valley are eligible to attend.

ColumbiaDoctors Obstetrics and Gynecology offers a unique pediatric and adolescent program, which provides girls from birth to early adulthood with the most sensitive and comprehensive care available. Serving more than 2,000 young girls each year, we ensure that your daughter’s first visit to the gynecologist is a positive experience and that all examinations are age-appropriate.
